STA's Palardy, Linder named U.S. Army All-Americans

by Christy Cabrera Chirinos

The U.S. Army All-American selection tour
will be making a stop at St. Thomas Aquinas this year.

Two Raiders—kicker Michael Palardy and
offensive lineman Brandon Linder—
have been chosen to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Palardy, who has verbally committed to Tennessee, has established himself as one of Florida’s top kickers, converting on 7 of 10 field goal attempts, including a long of 42 yards. He has also made 34 of 35 extra point attempts. Linder, meanwhile, anchors the line and has helped the Raiders average 326.2 yards per game.

Palardy and Linder will receive their game jersey at a ceremony at the school next Monday.
