FORT LAUDERDALE -- The trophy case at Brian Piccolo Stadium is home to five state championship crowns. It has been called home to many outstanding young men who hold its tradition close to their hearts.Former graduate and NFL Network analyst Michael Irvin helped build it. Brian Piccolo Stadium at St. Thomas Aquinas High School is a pillar to the success that the Raider football program has culminated over the past few decades.
This week, The NFL’s best call it home as they practice in preparation for this year’s Pro Bowl. "It's surreal," St. Thomas kicker Michael Palardy said as he watched the AFC's session. "I've been in that same exact spot, kicking where those guys are standing now. Not many people get this kind of opportunity."
